Allen Carr’s Easyway to Stop Smoking Recommended in The Mirror Newspaper

It’s always lovely to receive unsolicited praise in the national media and the feature in The Mirror newspaper looked at a variety of quit smoking methods. As always, unfortunately the main focus was on nicotine patches, nicotine gum, and e-cigarettes but it was great to be mentioned as an “alternative” method of quitting smoking.

The mention of the success rate is a little misleading – the newspaper seemed dismissive of the success rate remaining over 50% after 12 months, going as far as saying it was “less than impressive” when compared to the 3 month money back guarantee based success rate – without explaining that the 12 month figure was achieved in a clinical trial which took place in the smokers’ workplace.

The results of our workplace programmes are amazing – but they do not quite achieve the high levels that our public seminars achieve. Why not? Clients attending our public seminars do so at their own cost, in their own time, based on their own motivation. Most of them attend as a direct result of personal recommendations from friends, family members, and colleagues who successfully quit with Allen Carr’s Easyway. These clients are undoubtedly more highly motivated to achieve success than someone who is provided with the opportunity to attend the seminar, at their company’s expense, in their company’s time.

Having said that – the success rate enjoyed by our corporate clients is incredible, entirely unrivalled by any other method, and presents our corporate clients with an extraordinary return on investment in terms of reduced absenteeism (due to sickness/ill-health) and increased productivity. That’s quite aside from the appreciation shown towards employers by employees who achieve so many benefits from their freedom from smoking. It’s the perfect cycle – everybody wins.
