Lou Sanders normally makes us laugh until it hurts but this is an amazing, brave, well written story for The Guardian exploring her dangerous early exploits with alcohol. We are so pleased that Allen Carr’s Easyway helped.



The story looks at the comedian’s battles with alcohol from the age of 16 and the dawning realisation that, as she puts it: “I had so much shame and guilt that I drank to forget it. Which is a bit like saying you crave exercise so much that you cut off your legs.”
