Vaping: How to prevent children from vaping & help them quit
An article for parents by a deputy head teacher about vaping recommends Allen Carr’s Easyway
The Independent school parent today posts an article written by Matthew Godfrey, Deputy Head at Downe House School in Berkshire to help parents deal with the issue of vaping.
As he says the prevalence of teenagers vaping is a concern for schools, parents and also many in the NHS. The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health has said it is now an epidemic for teenagers despite it being illegal for under 18 year olds.
The difficulty for parents is of course that unlike cigarettes the smell of vaping is that of fruit or candy making it very difficult to initially spot. Click here for our full guide on Teen vaping – a guide to spotting vaping & helping them quit
He goes on to say “Allen Carr’s book Easy Way to Quit Vaping has helped many people by very eloquently and powerfully dispelling any notion that vaping is cool or positive.”
Allen Carr’s Easyway is currently developing a new Quit Vaping online video programme that will be available later this year.
